Zero data entry

Contacts sync themselves.

The moment someone messages your WhatsApp, they become a contact. Name, number and profile photo are pulled in automatically. No spreadsheets to import, no forms to fill — your customer database builds itself as you talk.

  • Every chat is a contact

Inbound and outbound conversations create and update contact records in real time.

  • Bulk import when you need it

Already have a list? Import contacts in bulk and Wassenger merges them with existing chats.

  • One record per person

Numbers are de-duplicated automatically, so a customer never shows up twice.

Enrich & segment

Custom fields, labels and notes.

A name and a number is a start. Add the context that actually closes deals — then slice your contacts into the segments that matter.

Custom contact fields

Create, edit and extend any contact detail. Add the fields your business runs on — company, plan, deal value, renewal date — and they stay attached to every conversation.

Metadata & labels

Tag contacts with colour-coded labels and metadata. Group customers by status, source, region or stage so you can target the right people every time.

Internal team notes

Leave private notes only your team can see. Flag a decision maker, log a promise, warn a colleague — context travels with the contact, not in someone's head.

Full context

The whole history, one screen.

Open any contact and see everything: every message exchanged, every label change, every note, every campaign they received. No more scrolling endless chats or asking a colleague what was promised.

  • Complete interaction log

Messages, media, labels and notes laid out as one chronological timeline.

  • Nothing gets lost in handovers

Anyone picking up the conversation sees the full story instantly — no context lost.

  • Search across everything

Find a contact by name, number, label or custom field in seconds.

Built to act on

From contact list to campaign.

Your CRM is not a filing cabinet. Turn any segment into an audience and send a broadcast in a few clicks — the labels and fields you set up become the targeting for every campaign.

  • Segment, then broadcast

Filter contacts by label, field or activity and push that exact group into a campaign.

  • Personalised at scale

Custom fields fill in names and details automatically, so every message feels one-to-one.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the WhatsApp CRM.

Do I need to import my contacts manually?
No. Contacts are created and kept up to date automatically from your WhatsApp conversations — name, number and profile photo are synced for you. If you already have a list, you can still import contacts in bulk and Wassenger merges them with any existing chats so you never end up with duplicates.
Can I add my own fields to a contact?
Yes. The CRM is fully extendable: create, edit and remove custom fields for anything your business tracks — company, plan, deal value, renewal date, lead source. Those fields stay attached to the contact and travel with every conversation, and you can use them later to segment audiences for campaigns.
What is the difference between labels and internal notes?
Labels are short, colour-coded tags used to organise and segment contacts — like "VIP", "Lead" or a region. Internal notes are free-text comments only your team can see, used to record context such as "decision maker" or "prefers a call first". Labels power filtering and targeting; notes carry the human context behind each contact.
Can I use CRM segments to send WhatsApp campaigns?
Yes. Any segment you build from labels, custom fields or activity can be turned into a campaign audience in a few clicks. Custom fields also personalise each message automatically, so a broadcast still reads like a one-to-one conversation. See the WhatsApp campaigns page for the full broadcasting workflow.
