How can I validate if a phone number exists in WhatsApp?
Use the numberExists API endpoint or the form above for one-off checks. Please note you must have at least one WhatsApp number connected to the platform in order to perform bulk validations.
How can I validate phone numbers?
You can validate whether a given phone number is linked to a WhatsApp account and can therefore receive messages. The API provides an endpoint that checks whether a given phone number exists on WhatsApp. The only requirement for bulk validation is having at least one WhatsApp number connected to your Wassenger account. Before checking existence, you can also validate and normalize the format of a list of phone numbers using the validateNumbers endpoint — this checks E.164 format but not WhatsApp existence.
How to validate if a phone number can receive WhatsApp messages?
Paste the number with international prefix into the form above and click Validate. The result tells you whether the number exists on WhatsApp, whether it is a Personal or Business account, the country, currency, languages and local time.
Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?
No. Our system works exactly the same whether you have a Personal or a Business WhatsApp account on the source side.
Can I validate numbers in bulk mode?
